Events

In 2006 we began developing an agenda of events, placing a particular emphasis on the arts, culture and society of the Arab world and setting up a team of staff and trustees dedicated to the promotion of this agenda. This endeavour culminated in the launch of the annual Arab British Culture and Society Award to recognise and celebrate the achievements of others in this field - the first prize of its kind.

Since then, relationships have developed and continue to flourish today with a variety of joint projects and events taking place and many individuals and organisations benefiting from such engagement and support.

In addition to our own cultural events, we are also able to publicise the events of like-minded organisations working in the field.  If you have a suggestion for an event you would like us to publicise, please go to the Event Suggestion page.
