What We Offer
The ABC offers a range of activities and facilities in the centre itself in addition to its cultural events programme.
The highlight of our activities programme is the annual Arab-British Culture and Society Award which recognises and celebrates the work of those involved in educating the British public about life, society and culture in the Arab world.
Culture & Society Award
Launched in 2007, this annual prize celebrates the achievements of those who work to positively promote the Arab world and its people to the British public.
Classes
The ABC holds regular introductory courses of Arabic calligraphy at the ABC, taught by Mustafa Ja'far, get in touch to book.
Contemporary Arab Art
The ABC invites the public to view its collection of contemporary artwork from around the Arab world, contact us for an appointment.
Library
The ABC's library is formerly a private collection but is open to the public for reference and borrowing, appointments are a good idea.
Room Hire & Conferencing
The Arab British Centre is able to offer a range of conference and meeting hire facilities close to the heart of the city and very reasonable rates
